New York, NY — Following his historic 2025 New York City Council campaign, community advocate Jason Murillo today announced his candidacy for the New York State Senate in the 27th District.
Today marks a tremendous milestone for our campaign and for the people of the 27th District.
I am deeply honored to be officially nominated and endorsed by both the Manhattan Republican Party and the New York State Republican Party as their candidate for State Senate in the 27th District. I am especially grateful for the support and endorsement of Manhattan Chairwoman, the Hon. Andrea Catsimatidis.
This is not just a personal accomplishment; it is a powerful statement that our district is ready for strong, principled, common-sense leadership. It shows that our message is resonating: putting community first, restoring public safety, protecting small businesses, defending affordable housing, and standing up for working families who feel ignored by the political establishment.
